Cecil Oswell

Cecil Charles (Chuck) Oswell 70 of Sealy, Texas, passed away on March 20, 2023

Chuck was born in Houston, Texas on November 19, 1952. He served 4 yrs in the US Marine Corps, where he was honorably discharged. He moved to Elkhart, Texas, in 1983 and lived there till 2021 when he and his wife moved to Sealy, Texas.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 12 yrs Melissa (Caudill) Oswell, his 2 brothers Ralph and the late Cheryl Oswell of Rome, NY and Ace and Harlean Oswell of Conroe, Texas. His step children Teresa Arnold, Kendra Arnold, Rebecca Conway and Michael Conway. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ashley Oswell and her son's Justin and Benji of Florida, Branden, Travis, Kyle, and Gage Oswell, all of Texas and step grandchildren Aubrii, Wyatt, Izaak, Davina, Kendall, David, Freya and Aurora. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents Cecil Charles Oswell Sr and Arice (Hancock) Oswell.

His dad taught him the love of hunting and fishing. He also loved raising cattle. In the last 10 years, he and his wife loved to take cruises and traveled all over the Caribbean and Alaska.

Funeral services will be on April 25th, 2023 at Houston National Cemetery at 1:15pm at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
