Gamers never quit, they simply restart- Jason Allen Roquemore

Jason Allen Roquemore was born on April 17, 1992, in Houston, Texas, to devoted parents Hubert Allen Roquemore Jr. and Walterlene Vaughn. From the very beginning, Jason was full of life, curiosity, and heart. He found joy in the world of gaming and technology, often sharing laughter and adventures with his siblings and cousins over video games.

He graduated from Nimitz High School and pursued his passion by studying Gaming Design at ITT Technical Institute. Jason’s love, however, extended far beyond technology. He had a deep compassion for animals, which led him to work at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter. There, he tenderly cared for animals of all kinds and even opened his heart and home to foster those in need of extra care.

Jason eventually stepped into a role that reflected his protective spirit—working in security for Allied Universal. It was a job he took great pride in, serving with dedication and integrity.

Away from work, Jason was known by many as “MrGoofy62” or “Red Ninja Showtime,” a name that captured both his playful side and his creative energy. He called himself a gamer, a nerd, and an “awesomely goofy ninja”—titles he carried with pride and joy.

But perhaps the most transformative moment of Jason’s life came on April 3, 2025, when he became a father to Ali'son N. Roquemore (with Mar’Sedez Winfrey). Becoming a dad was Jason’s greatest dream come true. From that day forward, Ali'son was the center of his universe, and Jason embraced fatherhood with endless love, warmth, and pride.

Jason was the youngest of a large and loving family. He shared close bonds with his siblings—Kimberly Ann Brown, Terrance Lashawn Marshall, Eulina Evet Brooks (George William Brooks III), Ashley Alicia Stanford (Jonathon Henry Stanford), and Alexzandria Alexus Roquemore. As an uncle, he was deeply devoted to his nieces and nephews—Misty Monique Hodge, Micalyn Denise Cook, and Sianna Dawn Neely—as well as his great-nephew, Jae’den Nathan Roger Hodge and great-niece, Artrisha Jae’de Lynn Hodge. Jason also had the love and support of many cousins, relatives, and host of friends, which kept him grounded.

Known for his wide, goofy smile and infectious laugh, Jason brought joy wherever he went. He was a kind-hearted, hardworking, and gentle soul—a true teddy bear to those who knew him. He was a listener, a helper, a protector, and above all, a source of unwavering love.

Though his life ended far too soon, Jason’s legacy lives on—in the hearts of his family, through the joy he brought to others, and in the digital world he loved so much. His gaming YouTube channel, RedNinja ShowTime, continues to reflect his creativity and passion, inspiring gamers for generations to come.

Jason was truly one of a kind, and his memory will forever be a guiding light for those who loved him.
